The official schedule and your local date
One More Level published its Launch Trailer and Launch Times announcement on October 9. The announcement specifies 19:00 CEST and 10:00 AM PDT on October 13, which both convert to 17:00 UTC. Use that single instant when converting to another region, rather than assuming midnight in every country.
The table above uses the daylight saving offsets in effect on the launch date. India and Tokyo are conversions from the official unlock instant; the other listed cities follow the developer’s map. Beijing, Seoul and Sydney reach October 14 before the worldwide launch, so a next-day date there does not represent a separate delay.
Steam, PS5 and Xbox: which time should you follow?
The official map carries the Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox logos. It provides the publisher’s common launch target for those platforms. A storefront countdown is still the practical check for whether your particular account and edition can start downloading or playing.
If a store displays a different time, compare the time zone and calendar date first. Check the signed-in product listing on your console or PC and follow its availability status for that purchase. A publisher schedule does not override the entitlement shown by a platform, and a countdown discrepancy is not evidence of a secret early-access edition.
Game Pass launch access and the right subscription
Microsoft’s October 7 Xbox Wire announcement lists Valor Mortis for October 13 with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. The supported access routes named there are cloud, Xbox Series X|S, handheld and PC. That announcement confirms the release day and plans; the developer’s map supplies the global time.
On PC, check the Xbox app when using a Game Pass subscription. The Steam listing is a separate storefront, so a Game Pass entitlement does not automatically provide a Steam copy. On console or cloud, confirm that the listing is available through your current plan and region before buying another copy.
If the game is still locked after the launch time
First check the product page for your platform and account. Verify the local time against 17:00 UTC on October 13, then refresh the store or restart its app if the listing still shows the old countdown. Confirm that you are looking at the full game rather than an older demo or another edition.
A missing download button alone does not establish a worldwide delay. Check the developer’s Steam announcements for a dated update and the platform listing for any regional availability message. Avoid unofficial unlock tools and treat changing account regions as a separate store-policy issue, rather than a guaranteed way around a simultaneous launch.
